The bottom image shows Hank Jones at the piano and Ray Brown on bass, I don't know the drummer; I wonder when it was taken.
Hank Jones himself says about the picture that it shows Ella who walked in while they were practising "and it can't have been much good what she heard" because it was early in his career.
He suggested the early 1950s. Somehow I seem to recall I've read that it's from 1962... what is the answer?
In my opinion this picture has been taken between 1949 and 1951..something in bwtween...
